International Museum Day 2026

17.05.2026
10:00 — 17:00

In a time of social and cultural change, places that foster exchange and mutual understanding are becoming increasingly important. Under the motto ‘Museums uniting a divided world’, the 49th International Museum Day invites visitors to discover museums as spaces for encounter.
The diverse programme offered by cultural institutions in Ulm and Neu-Ulm also demonstrates just how unifying museums can be. With exhibitions, guided tours, creative hands-on activities, family events and
programmes specifically for children, they invite guests of all ages to discover art, culture,
nature and history, to engage in conversation with one another and to gain new
perspectives.

In this spirit, we invite you on this day to discover the Museum of Bread and Art and, in particular, our current special exhibition “Honey for Art and Society – How Bees Inspire Us”.
